Yo Fui Bracero is a photo exhibit at Casa 0101 in Boyle Heights celebrating the lives and contributions of Braceros. The Bracero program brought hundreds of thousands of migrant Mexican workers into the U.S. for temporary work during the mid-20th century. The exhibit coincides with the world premiere of Trio Los Machos, a play about a bolero trio who met while working as braceros. The play features the music of the legendary Trio Los Panchos.
