South and North Americans come together to celebrate the legacy of Woody Guthrie in this folk inducing concert presented by portoluz. Yep. Folk inducing. The show has been intentionally organized to take place during the G8/NATO summit as a folk protest of all that diplomatic-one-percent-bullshit. (Remezcla does not outwardly support or denounce the occupy movement). We people del pueblo have been using folk music to get to the the heart of important social issues since nations existed in South America and likely before. The tradition continues with Son del Viento and other performers on this ticket. Be there.
