Remezcla fave Orquesta El Macabeo performs in Chicago’s Square Roots Festival and Mayne Stage on July the 21st.  As Remezcla writer Jordannah Elizabeth writes, “Puerto Rico-based indie salsa band Orquesta El Macabeo…exudes traditional salsa sounds, but in a very postmodern musical perspective.”

Here are the details for the two performances:

Square Roots Festival: 4-5 PM @ Wilson Stage; Lincoln Square, Lincoln Ave between Montrose and Wilson Ave.  Suggested Donations are $10 Adults; $5 Seniors over 65 and Children under 12

Mayne Stage: 9 PM, $12 General Admission, $22 Reserved Seating, 1328 W. Morse Avenue, Chicago, IL 60626
