Manguito, featuring five members of the New England Latin powerhouse Mango Blue, serves up a spicy cocktail of Afro-Latin folklore, jazz and salsa in their Chicago debut. Ecuadorian bassist, singer, composer, arranger and cultural promoter Alex Alvear brings together an all-star cast including Grammy nominated Venezuelan pianist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Gonzalo Grau. Â Catch them live Wednesday, May 9th at The Old Town School of Music.
