Event Description

An art exhibition featuring works by mexican printmaker and muralist Nicolas de Jesus. Originary of Amayaltepec, a community of Alto Balsas in the Indigenous Nahua region of Guerrero, Nicolas is the son of one of the founders of the Amate school of Mexican Folk Artist. In addition, Chicago based artist Arturo Galan (Michoacan, Mexico) will set a piece entitled “La Primavera del Inmigrante”.
