At last Enrique Bunbury, the deep-voiced idol of most seasoned rock en español fans graces Chicago with his presence. The former Héroes del Silencio frontman is promoting his new album, Las Consecuencias, with an U.S. tour. According to the Spaniard, this CD is the “darkest and most down tempo” he’s ever recorded — jo, even darker than Radical Sonora?
Las Consecuencias includes “Frente a frente” (see video below), a cover of the 1981 hit by Spain-based songstress Jeannette and the band Tulsa. Bunbury has confirmed that the whole tour will be recorded for a forthcoming documentary, so make sure you come prepared for your close-up.
