Event Description

It’s time to dance and celebrate Carnaval Chicago Style! Brazilian party by the Samba Group featuring a live performance, Brazilian DJ, Brazilian food, and Samba 1 Dance Group showing off Rio de Janeiro costumes. Dance instructor Edilson Lima will also be showing guests samba moves.

And don’t shoot the messenger: We know that Mardi Gras usually brings mental images of girls with beads who seem to be allergic to their t-shirts… Oh, wait. Well, at least one takes place in Louisiana and the other in Rio.

Y como siempre, take a friend, get ready to take in some cachaça (there’s a $5 caipirinha special) and dance the night away!
